riding the waves

Yesterday our team had been to 'wonder la', a water sports resort. Rest of the things were fine with thrilling rides and zooming water sports. Here's a pic from the party. Me dancing in full zoom..

One thing that really got the attention of my thoughts was the water waves. You know what?

  • waves will come and go
  • If you dont keep your head above the wave, you will find water all over inside, eyes , ears, nose, throat.. you name it.
  • Riding the wave has a lot of thrill and fun. You find a sense of achievement within you after you do it.
  • Riding the waves is all about timing. Lift your feet just before the wave is close. Too early, you are lost. Too late, you wont be able to lift your feet.
  • If you ride the wave, it takes you with it. Else, it pushes you under it. You will move with it. But you'll be busy getting water out of your body. cough cough... :)
  • Have your underwear tight. Water has enough power to pull it down. Your neighbour may do it as well.. :).. You should ideally forget about it once you enter into water.
  • Closer you are to the shore, safer you are. Small and safe tides. But you choose what you want.
  • Last and the most important, there may not be a floor to hold you when the waves are not there. You should learn how to ride the wave when there is no ground support. Sounds scary hna?
Nice lessons for life... :)..
